Eden Fessahaye studied Development Studies and Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Eden then spent a year with the Royal College of Psychiatrists where she was seconded to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (Malaysia), before going to Queen Mary, University of London for a Masters in Migration and Law. Eden volunteered as an Audit and Research Volunteer for Medical Justice where she co-authored a report on the clinical care of HIV detainees in UK immigration centres before taking on various Programme/Project Officer roles in Higher Education institutions.

Selina Flavius is the founder of the financial coaching and training company Black Girl Finance, she hosts a weekly podcast of the same name, is the author of the personal-finance Book Black Girl Finance -let's talk money and creator of the Event Black Girl Finance Festival. She is on a mission to make money conversations more inclusive and recently won a British bank award for online financial influencer 2021. After a 15-year career in business development, she decided to follow her passion for finance, and launch as a safe space for Black women and women of colour to talk about money. She has also contributed to discussions in the UK media about financial inequality and worked as a contributor to the Money and Pension Service 10-year financial well-being Strategy. She was previously part of ITV Lorraine' saver squad, has recently won a Wearethecity Rising Star award 2024 and is an ambassador for the charity surviving.

Deborah began her career in retail banking with NatWest Bank, gaining a solid foundation before progressing to roles in Private Banking and Relationship Management at prestigious institutions such as Brown Shipley Private Bank, Coutts and C. Hoare & Co. Her career spans extensive experience in general Retail banking and Wealth Management for high-net-worth professionals, executives, and commercial clients. This led to her being honoured as a finalist for the 2018 Women in Finance Awards for Private Banker of the Year.
Beyond her banking experience, Deborah is a dedicated coach and mentor with Female Invest, where she guides individuals toward achieving their financial goals. She has mentored and coached colleagues and students, led diversity, equity, and inclusion (ED&I) initiatives, including a notable project that brought together students from inner-city schools and Eton to highlight and celebrate talent regardless of background or race.
Deborah is recognised for maintaining high client satisfaction even under pressure. She is committed to making a positive impact in the finance industry and encourage everyone to be comfortable with money.
